Two narco smugglers held with charas

JAMMU, Nov 1: Police today arrested two narcotics smuggler and recovered two kg charas from their possession in Dogra Chowk area under the jurisdiction of Nowabad police station.
Police parties trapped the smugglers at Dogra Chowk soon after they reached here from the Kashmir Valley to sell the charas to some local persons. Both of them were arrested.
They have been identified as Farooq Ahmad son of Abdul Aziz, a resident of Bari Barahamana and Saleem Khan son of Kamaal Din R/o Dharmari, Reasi.
Police recovered two kg charas from their possession, which they had smuggled from the Kashmir Valley to Jammu City. Police was questioning them to ascertain the sources of charas supply in the Valley and the persons to whom they had to deliver the consignment in Jammu City.
A Nowabad police station team headed by SHO Jaipal Sharma made the arrests.
