Two narcotic peddlers booked, lodged in jail

DODA, Dec 6: Police here today booked two notorious narcotic peddlers/addicts and lodged them in District Jail Bhaderwah under preventive detention.
Giving details, Police sources informed that a number of complaints were received at Police Station Bhaderwah that two youth-Saqib Sheikh, son of Mukhtyar Ahmed, resident of Rainda, Bhaderwah and Yaser Khan, son of Shahnawaz Khan, resident of Chakka, Bhaderwah were habitual drug peddlers and were alluring other local youth to consume intoxicants to make them addicts.
Acting upon this information, Police produced a detailed report of their involvement in narcotic addiction and involving other youth to sell narcotic substances and become its addicts.
A Police party led by Inspector, Amrit Katoch, SHO Police Station Bhaderwah apprehended the duo and produced them before the Executive Magistrate Class 1st Bhaderwah from where they were sent to District Jail Bhaderwah under preventive detention.
