UDHAMPUR, Aug 14: Udhampur Police arrested two narcotic smugglers and recovered 13 grams of contraband substance Heroin and cash of Rs 56,000 from their possession.
The accused, identified as Mushtaq Ahmed son of Bashir Ahmed of Thill Roundomail Udhampur and Mohd Saleem son of Mohd. Mussa of Dalwas Ramban were travelling in a car, which was intercepted by a Police party, led by SHO Udhampur, Inspector Chaman Gorka, under the supervision of Sahil Mahajan, DySP Hqrs Udhampur, during checking of vehicles at Roun Domail naka point.
During search of the vehicle, 13 grams of Heroin alongwith cash of Rs 56000 was recovered from the possession of two accused persons.
In this connection, a case FIR number 295/2021, under section 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered at PS Udhampur and further investigation is going on.
