DODA, July 19: Police have taken two notorious drug peddlers into preventive custody.
As per polices sources, a number of complaints were being received at Police Station Doda that two notorious drug peddlers namely Muzamil Ahmed, son of Mujahid Ahmed Shah of Sadiq Abad and Mozim Ali, son of Mohsin Ahmed of Sah Mohalla consume drugs and are also involving other youth of the area in drug addiction.
Acting over this alarming information, a police team swung into action and a detailed report of their involvement in drug addiction as well as involving other youth was prepared.
A team from Police Station Doda led by PSI Sahil Sharma and assisted by Incharge Police Post DH Doda PSI Subash Singh arrested both the drug addicts and produced them before the Executive Magistrate Class 1st Doda, where from they were sent to District Jail Bhaderwah under preventive detention.
