JAMMU, Dec 16: At least two Pakistan army personnel were killed and five others injured in retaliation by the Indian troops along the Line of control (LoC) across Nowshera sector of Rajouri district today.
Pakistan army started heavy mortar shelling and firing on the LoC in Nowshera sector in violation of ceasefire. The Indian side retaliated effectively to silence the Pakistani guns which were targeting forward defence posts and the civilian population.
In the Indian retaliatory action, two Pakistani troopers were killed and five others injured.
Pakistan army has admitted their two fatal casualties in the Indian retaliation.
However, there was no loss of life or damage on the Indian side in Pakistani shelling and firing.
There were reports that two to three Pakistani posts have been damaged.
