Two Pak boys repatriated

JAMMU, Mar 24: Army today handed over two Pakistani boys to their Pakistani counterparts during a flag meeting at Chakan-Da-Bagh after it was confirmed that both had sneaked into this side inadvertently.
Official sources said after the arrests of teen-age brothers—Rehmatullah and Anayatullah, residents of Kotli, PoK on May 22 at Janghar in Nowshera sector of Rajouri district, Army had established a contact with their Pakistani counterparts on hotline.
As Pakistan Army had sought photographs of the boys to establish their identity, a Company Commander level flag meeting was held at Chakan-Da-Bagh yesterday in which Pakistan was provided photographs.
After Pakistan Army today confirmed identity of the two boys, a battalion commanders level flag meeting was again held today at Chakan-Da-Bagh in which Army handed over both the boys to Pakistani officials.
As a goodwill gesture, Army also gave boxes of fruits and clothes for the two boys to the Pakistan Army.
It may be mentioned that the boys had disclosed that they had crossed over to this side in search of employment.
