JAMMU, Nov 12: Two persons were nabbed in an alleged espionage case as they were found to be sharing vital information across the border via social media in RS Pura area.
Police party from RS Pura this morning received information from the reliable sources that two persons namely Satvinder Singh alias Bittu of Simbal Camp, Miran Sahib and Dadu alias Lucky of Phinder, R S Pura were wondering in the area of border road Suchetgarh near cremation Ground.
“It was learnt that they were collecting the secret information regarding the locations of the Army and other security forces and sharing it with Pakistan through Whatsapp,’’ sources said.
They said case under relevant sections has been registered against them and investigations started.
