SAMBA, Nov 20: Two pedestrians were injured in a road mishap when the bus hit them near Emergency Hospital, Vijaypur in Samba district today.
The injured have been identified as Rakesh Kumar, 50 son of Ram Sharma resident of Amowal and Raj Kumari, wife of late Sat Paul resident of Patti.
Police said the mishap occurred at Jammu -Pathankot National Highway near Emergency Hospital, Vijaypur when a bus bearing Registration No JK02BA- 7247 on way to Kathua from Jammu after reaching near Vijaypur suddenly hit two pedestrians, as a result of which they were critically injured and shifted to Emergency Hospital, Vijaypur where from doctors referred both of them to Government Medical College and Hospital Jammu for further treatment.
In this regard Police has taken cognizance of the matter and started investigation.
