DODA, June 6: Two residential houses were damaged in fire in this district today.
As per police sources, fire broke out in the house of Mohan Lal, son of Munshi Ram at Rout Bhanan probably due to short circuit.
On getting information, police team rushed to the spot and with the help of locals started operation to douse the flames.
After hectic efforts, the fire was brought under control, but till then the third floor of the house got fully damaged.
No injury or casualty has been reported in the incident, while the exact loss could not be ascertained yet.
Doda Police has taken cognizance in this regard.
Meanwhile, another residential house belonging to Choudhary Bashir Ahmed, son of Choudhary Qasim Din got damaged in fire at Houja Kahara.
Police team rushed to the spot and with the help of locals doused the flames.
No injury or casualty has been reported in the incident, while the exact loss could not be ascertained yet.
