Two road accident victims succumb

JAMMU, May 8: Two victims of road accidents today succumbed to their injuries here at Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Jammu.
According to a police official, a man identified as Naresh (30) son of Om Parkash, resident of Sarore, was hit by an unknown vehicle at Sarore on May 6. He said on the same day Naresh was shifted to GMCH Jammu for treatment but today at about 6:10 AM he succumbed to his injuries.
“Similarly, an elderly man namely Parkash Chand (72) son of Labo Ram, resident of Rasana (Hiranagar, Kathua) was shifted to GMCH after he was hit and injured by a speeding Tata Sumo at Koota Morh on May 7”, he said, adding, today at about 1:10 AM, Parkash Chand succumbed to his injuries.
The official said that both the dead bodies have been handed over to their legal heirs for last rites after completion of all medico-legal formalities.
