UDHAMPUR, May 29: Police Station Udhampur worked out two snatching cases and arrested four accused besides affecting recoveries.
Separate complaints were lodged in Police Station Udhampur by two different complainants namely Radha, wife of Arun Kumar of Housing Colony and Kapoor Chand, son of Charan Dass of Kultyar, Panchari at Police Station Udhampur regarding the snatching. Two different case FIRs; No 284/2023 and 295/2023 U/S 382 IPC were registered in this regard.
Following the complaints of snatching, Police teams led by SHO Udhampur, Inspector Raghubir Singh, under the supervision of Anwaar Ul Haq, Addl SP Udhampur and Dy SP Hqrs S Gurmeet Singh were constituted.
After strenuous efforts, Police teams rounded up four suspects who confessed their involvement in these two cases.
In case FIR No 284/2023, Sumit Suri, son of Roshan Lal of MH Road Udhampur and Antrikash Anand, son of Vishal Anand of M H Road Udhampur were involved while the other two suspects, namely Angrez Singh, son of Jarnail Singh of Garhi Udhampur and Arun Singh, son of Sat Pal of Jib Udhampur, were involved in case FIR number 296/2023.
On their disclosure, all the snatched items were also recovered. Further investigation of both the cases is going on.
