JAMMU, Oct 13: A woman hailing from Poonch district and another belonging to Gorkha Nagar, Jammu, today succumbed to their burn injuries here at Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH).
According to a police spokesperson, a woman identified as Chanda Devi (26) wife of Nand Kishore, a resident of Ward No 12, Poonch, was shifted here at GMCH with critical burn injuries on October 4.
“However, the woman succumbed to her injuries today”, the spokesman said.
Meanwhile, another woman, who was injured in a stove blast at her residence on Oct 9 and was undergoing treatment here at GMCH, succumbed to her injuries today at about 7.40 pm.
The bodies of both the deceased were shifted to mortuary room of the hospital for conducting postmortem tomorrow.
