JAMMU, Apr 23: Two persons including a woman succumbed today to their burn injuries here at Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH).
According to a police official, a woman identified as Kamlesh Devi (26) wife of Krishan Lal, resident of Tandhar (Chenani, Udhampur), was admitted in the GMCH after she suffered severe burn injuries at her residence. However, the woman succumbed to her injuries today at about 8:20 PM.
Similarly, a 16-year-old boy namely Rakesh son of Hakikat Singh, resident of Sumbar (Ramban) had received about 30% burn injuries during a fire which broke out in his shop. He was undergoing treatment here at GMCH but today at about 3:15 PM, he passed away.
The dead bodies of both the deceased were shifted to mortuary room of the hospital while concerned police had taken cognizance in both the cases.
