JAMMU, Oct 23: Two accident victims including a lady succumbed to their injuries here at Government Medical College and Hospital.
According to a police spokesperson, an old man identified as Jotta Singh (75) son of Malla Singh, a resident of Guru Tej Bahadur Nagar (Channi), who was undergoing treatment for his injuries here at GMCH since Oct 21 following a road accident at Sainik Colony, expired today at about 9.35 am.
Another accident victim namely Renu Devi (30) wife of Bachan Singh, a resident of Doda (at present Roop Nagar), who was shifted to GMCH after she was seriously injured yesterday morning in a road mishap at Patoli Brahmana in city outskirts, succumbed to her injuries late last night.
After completing all medico-legal formalities, the bodies of both the deceased were handed over to their legal heirs for last rites.
In both cases, the concerned police have registered cases and investigations are underway.
