KISHTWAR, May 15: Two Government teachers have been booked for allegedly sexually assaulting a minor girl of class 11 at Symbol Hr Sec School during examinations yesterday and the DC Kishtwar has placed both the teachers under suspension.
As per reports after the girl shared the whole incident with her parents, they along with the locals staged a protest demonstration and demanded action against the erring teachers.
After getting information the concerned Tehsildar along with cops reached the spot and pacified the protestors.
Based on the complaint from girl’s father an FIR with no. 32/2023 has been registered at Police Station Chatroo U/S 354 IPC and 8/9 POSCO Act.
Meanwhile, taking serious note of the allegations DC Kishtwar, Dr. Devansh Yadav has ordered an enquiry into the matter.
After suspension the accused teachers Roshan Lal Shan, PEM at Govt Hr Sec School Boys Kishtwar and Sanjay Kumar Sharma, PET at MS Inderwal have been attached in the office of CEO Kishtwar.
CEO Kishtwar has been appointed as enquiry officer and he shall conduct the in-depth enquiry and will submit the report along with recommendation within 15 days positively for further necessary action.
