Two teens killed, 4 hurt in accident

RAJOURI, Sept 8: Two teenage boys were killed and four others injured in a tragic road accident on the Rajouri-Kotranka Road, last evening.
The accident occurred at Palma area falling under the jurisdiction of Police Station Rajouri, police sources said. They said some school boys were travelling in a private car bearing registration number JK11E-8411, when driver of the car lost control and hit a tree and a boulder before hitting a motorcycle approaching from the opposite direction.
Sources said all the injured persons were immediately rushed to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) Rajouri, where one of them namely Sameer Ahmad (17), a class 12 student, was declared brought dead by the doctors while motorcyclist Khuda Baksh (19) son of Mohd Isaq of Nagrota succumbed to his injuries today.
Four other students injured in the accident are undergoing treatment in the hospital, the officials said, adding, their condition is stable. The injured were identified as Asif Manzoor (16) son of Manzoor Hussain of Jatote, Toqeet Mirza (18) son of Shahzad Bashir of Darhal, Mohd Amaan (18) son of Tahir Mirza of Darhal and Mohd Nayeem (17) son of Anwar Shah of Targain Budhal.
Rajouri Police had registered a case in this connection and started further investigation.
