Two theft cases solved, stolen items recovered

JAMMU, July 23: Jammu Police today claimed to have solved two theft cases with the arrest of the two thieves and recovery of stolen items.
A theft complaint was lodged at Police Station Bishnah by a person namely Bhushan Kumar son of Pritam Dads, resident of Dhinday Khurd, tehsil Bishnah, district Jammu and another complaint at Police Post Jourian by a person namely Tarseem Lal son of Thoru Ram.
After registration of cases, special police teams of Police Station Bishnah and Police Station Akhnoor under the supervision of SDPO R S Pura Surinder Singh and SDPO Akhnoor Varun Jandial, respectively were constituted.
The team led by SHO Bishnah Inspector Pawan Dogra and SHO Akhnoor Inspector Hilal Azhar assisted by Incharge Police Post Jourian PSI Karnail Singh did strenuous efforts and finally rounded up four accused person in their respective jurisdictions, who were later identified as Ankush Kumar son of Kaka Ram of Bari Brahmana, Munish Kumar son of Sukha Ram of Ward number 13 Bishnah, Varinder Parshad son of Kamal Kumar of Dhinday Khurd (Bishnah) and Vishal Singh son of Faqir Singh of Jourian.
On questioning, accused persons confessed their involvement in theft cases. On their disclosure, a stolen AC, 50 packets of cigarettes, one Mobile phone without SIM and uncounted cash were recovered.
Further investigation of the cases were going on.
