JAMMU, Dec 10: Police today arrested two thieves and recovered 24 g of stolen gold on their disclosure.
According to a police spokesperson, two thieves namely Parveen Kumar (18) son of Kala Ram and Mukesh Kumar (18) son of Bodhraj, both residents of Malpur, Sua No 1, falling under the limits of Kanachak police station, were arrested in case FIR No 122/15 under Section 457/380 RPC.
He said that on disclosure of the accused, about 24 g gold worth Rs 55200 was recovered till now and more recoveries were expected.
The arrests were made by a police team led by SHO, police station Kanachack, Rakesh Singh under the supervision of SDPO Domana, SK Sharma, SP Rural, Rajeev Pandey and SSP Jammu, Uttam Chand.
