JAMMU, Oct 1: Bishnah Police arrested two thieves and recovered stolen items from their possession.
As per police sources, a written complaint was lodged by a person namely Pawan Kesar, son of JP Kesar of Channi Himmat with Police Station Bishnah stating that some unidentified persons have stolen his kitchen chimney and other items from his godown situated near Ring Road, Sarore.
Acting over the complaint, a case FIR Number 173/2022 under section 380 IPC was registered at Police Station Bishnah and investigation started.
During the course of the investigation, a team from Police Station Bishnah led by SHO Inspector Vikram Sharma under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura Surinder Singh with the help of technical assistance arrested two thieves, who were identified as Sandeep Bharti, son of Girdhari Lal of Mandayal Tehsil Ramgarh and Amit Balli, son of Arvind Kumar of Bagga Marh Tehsil RS Pura District Jammu.
On their disclosure, stolen kitchen chimney worth Rs 38000 was recovered and seized.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
