JAMMU, Sept 16: Bishnah Police arrested two thieves and recovered stolen items from their possession.
As per police sources, a complaint was lodged by a person namely Mohd Yaqoob, son of Liyaqat Ali of Dhindey Khurd with Police Station Bishnah stating that his fitted electric wire worth Rs 45,000 approximately was stolen from his newly constructed house situated at Dhindey Khurd.
Acting over the complaint, a case FIR Number 161/2022 under section 379 IPC was registered at Police Station Bishnah and investigation started.
During the course of investigation, a team from Police Station Bishnah led by SHO Inspector Vikram Sharma under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura Surinder Singh and SP Headquarters Ramnish Gupta based on input from his sources and with the help of technical assistance finally arrested two thieves, who were identified as Arun Kumar, son of Ghar Chand and Abhishek Kumar, son of Darshan Lal, both residents of Dhindey Khurd Tehsil Bishnah District Jammu.
On their disclosure, police team recovered the stolen electric wire which was melted by them and sold in market. A motorcycle bearing registration number JK02BB-4990 used in commission of crime has also been seized.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
