SAMBA, Oct 11: Bari Brahmana Police arrested two thieves along with stolen items.
As per police sources, yesterday a written complaint was lodged at Police Station Bari Brahmana by a complainant namely Vishal Ditta, son of late Rajinder Kumar of New Rehari Jammu regarding theft of some construction material.
Acting over the complaint, a case FIR Number 192/2022 under section 379 IPC was registered at Police Station Bari Brahmana and investigation started.
During the course of investigation, a team of Police Station Bari Brahmana headed by SHO Inspector Inderpal Singh and assisted by PSI Anjum Hussain was constituted under the supervision of DySP Headquarters Samba, Mohd Usman (I/C SDPO Bari Brahmana).
The team after arduous efforts coupled with scrutiny of CCTV cameras footage of nearby areas, developed some lead in the case and succeeded in the arrest of 2 thieves, who were identified as Mohd Aslam, son of Rehmat Ali of Sidhra Majeen Tehsil Nagrota District Jammu and Mohd Sadiq, son of Nazir Ahmed of Batra Tehsil Nagrota District Jammu.
On their disclosure, stolen items were recovered.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
