JAMMU, June 29: Channi Himmat Police arrested two thieves along with stolen scooty.
As per police sources, a written complaint was lodged at Police Station Channi Himmat by a person namely Jeet Kumar, son of Doulet Ram of Sikanderpur Tehsil Bishnah District Jammu regarding theft of scooty from Marble Market area of Channi Himmat.
A case FIR Number 97/2022 under section 379 IPC was registered at Police Station Channi Himmat and investigation started.
To work out the case, a team from Police Station Channi Himmat led by SHO Inspector Deepak Katoch and assisted by PSI Paramjeet Singh was constituted under the supervision of SDPO East Syed Zaheer Abbas Jafri.
The team did strenuous efforts and finally rounded up two suspect persons who were identified as Mohd Sadiq, son of Bashir Ahmed and Shokat Ali, son of Sakhi Mohd, both residents of District Reasi.
During questioning, the accused confessed their involvement in the above theft case and on their disclosure stolen scooty was recovered.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
