POONCH/ RAJOURI, May 29: Two unidentified bodies were recovered by police from Chakkan-da-Bagh in Poonch and Manawar Tawi in Nowshera area of Rajouri today.
Official sources said that security agency men traced the dead body of an elderly man lying near Chakkan -Da-Bagh closer to LOC during this morning. They informed concerned police and handed over the body to them.
The police has kept the body in the mortuary of District Hospital, Poonch. A case has been registered in this connection. It’s identity could not be established late this evening.
Yet another dead body of a middle- aged man was recovered from the bank of river Manawar in Nowshera sector by police this afternoon. It was shifted to the morgue of Nowshera hospital. The police has flashed messages to various Police Stations to establish the identity of the deceased.
