JAMMU, Jan 9: The dead bodies of two unidentified men were recovered today from two separate areas on city outskirts.
“The dead body of an unidentified man appears to be a ‘Sadhu’ was recovered today from passenger shed near Wave Mall in Narwal area,” a police official said, adding the man appears to be of 60 years old and is about 5 feet three inches in height.
He said another unidentified male dead body was recovered from a pond near Peer Baba in Greater Kailash area. “The deceased is about 40 years old,” he added.
The official said both the dead bodies were shifted to mortuary room of Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for identification/postmortem while inquest proceedings in both the cases initiated at concerned police stations.
He said any information about the deceased persons may be communicated to police post GMC Jammu, PCR Jammu at phone number 0191-2542000 or concerned police posts/stations.
