JAMMU, Nov 25: The two week ICSSR sponsored workshop for capacity building programme of university and college teachers, organized by Commerce Deptt in University of Jammu, concluded today.
Total twenty sessions were conducted during the workshop, which was attended by 27 participants from various States across India like Karnataka, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Rajasthan and J&K.
The each session was of three hours duration. Resource persons from prestigious institutions like IIM Lucknow, IIM Udaipur, NIT Kurukshetra, Central University HP and SMVDU deliberated on research concepts and techniques.
The valedictory function was held in the New Hall at Deptt of Commerce. Prof Kulwant Kaur, Dean Research was the chief guest and Prof Desh Bandhu Gupta, Dean Faculty of Business Studies and Director Colleges Development, delivered the key note address. Prof Hardeep Chahal, HoD and Workshop Director welcomed the guests.
Dr Jeevan Jyoti, workshop co-director, gave the detailed report. Participants shared their views about the conduct of the workshop.
Certificates were distributed among the participants by Prof Kulwant Kaur and Prof Desh Bandhu Gupta.
A vote of thanks was extended by Dr Gurjeet Kaur. Dr Shashi Prabha was the stage coordinator.
