UDHAMPUR, Dec 13: Two weeks “GOs Refresher Course” for the officers of Jammu and Kashmir Police commenced in Police Academy here today.
Dr SD Singh Jamwal, Additional Director General of Police was the chief guest at the inaugural function.
While speaking on the occasion, the ADGP advised the participants to acquire knowledge necessary to discharge critical responsibilities. He laid emphasis that the participants to remain interactive and also share their experience in handling different challenges in their career as almost all of them have more than two decades of service.
The course has been designed to meet the requirements laid down under mission Karam Yogi. 19 officers of J&K Police reported at SKPA to attend the course.
Among other officers, Dr Kavita Suri, Director Department of lifelong Learning, University of Jammu, Mohan Lal, SSP, Deputy Director (Indoor/ Trainings) SKPA, Suraj Singh AD (Training/R&D), KK Sharma, AD (O), Ramesh Kumar Private Secretary to Director SKPA and Tahir Hussain, DySP, AD (Indoor) were present on the occasion.
