Two women drug peddlers held with heroin

JAMMU, Dec 24: Police in Miran Sahib Area claimed today they have arrested two women drug peddlers and recovered from their possession 9.74 grams of heroin.
A police spokesperson said that a team of Police Station Miran Sahib led by SHO concerned while on patrolling duty at Marallian area rounded up two suspects.
“On search of their belongings, 9.74 grams of heroin and Rs 1970 in cash were recovered,” he said.
Police have accordingly arrested and booked the accused identified as Razia Begum and Khalida Begum, both residents of Marallian, Miran Sahib, in case FIR number 172/2023 under sections 8/21/22/29/62 of the NDPS Act registered at Police Station Miran Sahib and started further investigation into the matter, he said.
