JAMMU, June 17: Two women sustained injuries after the scooty they were riding on was hit by a car in Arnia area here today, officials said.
They said Kanta Devi (60) wife of Yashpal and Meenakshi (35) wife of Shakti Kumar of Ward Number 10, Arnia, were injured after their scooty was hit at Joian Morh, Anandpur, Arnia around 4:10 pm.
They were taken to a local healthcare facility in Arnia from where they were referred to Government Medical College Jammu after preliminary treatment, officials said.
Police have started investigation into the matter, they said.
