KATHUA, Mar 10: Two car borne youth died in a road mishap near OSK road on Jammu Pathakote National Highway at Rajbagh early this morning.
The duo was identified as Harbans Singh, son of Karan Singh of Jammu and Joginder Singh, son of Ranjit Singh of Baramulla in Kashmir Valley.
According to police the two youth who had gone to Chandigarh in connection with an admission in a College were returning to Jammu when their Maruti car bearing number JK02AA3889 which was in high fast speed hit an unknown vehicle from behind.
The two youth among whom one was driving the car were seriously injured, police said adding, as it was drizzling and very early in the morning, there was no movement on the Highway the two died inside the car.
Later a police party from Rajbagh Police Station rushed the spot who brought the two out of the car. The police with the help of their mobile phones contacted their relatives and took the dead bodies to District Hospital Kathua for postmortem.
Later the bodies were handed over to their relatives after postmortem. The Rajbagh Police has registered a case.
