RAMBAN, June 16: A tipper driver here today died allegedly due to the burst of a tyre in Barala, Sangaldan area of Gool.
Police received information that a man was lying unconscious alongside the road near a parked tipper in the Ind Barala area of Sangaldan.
Soon cops reached the spot and with the help of local volunteers shifted him to PHC Sangaldan where he was declared as dead on arrival by the doctor.
The deceased was identified as Haroon Ahmad, son of Gulzar Ahmed, resident of Dalwa, Gool in Ramban district.
Sources said the one of the tyres of the tipper got punctured and the driver came out to see it and in the meantime another tyre got busted and its pieces hit the driver with a high pressure leaving him injured.
Police has registered a case in this regard and started investigations.
