JAMMU, Sept 7: Councillor of Ward 60 of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC), Rajni Bala along with president J&K Pradesh Youth Congress, Uday Bhanu Chib here today started development works at Government Higher Secondary School and Government Middle School in Paloura with an estimated cost of Rs. 1.53 crore under Jammu Smart City project.
Speaking on the occasion Chib said that Ward No. 60 has witnessed massive changes at grass root level with the hectic efforts of JMC Councillor, Rajni Bala.
He flayed the district administration for not paying heed to the woes of people especially on account of irregular power and water supply.
Rajni Bala in her address informed that the development and up-gradation work of Govt Higher Secondary School Paloura and Government Middle School Plaoura have been started today under the Smart City project. She informed that the construction work will be executed by the PWD.
The JMC Councillor assured the Ward residents to transform the Ward into a model one by providing them all the facilities and services at door steps.
ZEO, Principals of the Schools, Som Nath Sharma, Block president Patta Paloura, Dr. Chander Mohan Sharma and others were also present on the occasion.
