Jammu, Dec 16: In the league match of Dr. Vidushi Kapahi memorial 50 over cricket league played at Country Cricket Academy grounds Gharota Jammu, between Udhampur Eleven and KC International School, Udhampur Eleven defeated KC international by 6 wickets.
Udhampur Eleven won the toss and elected to bowl first. KC international scored 174 with the contributions of Nirandev, Daanish, Jagpreet scoring 59, 19 and 14 respectively. From Udhampur Eleven side Brijesh took 4 wickets ,and Mukul claimed 2 wickets. Aditpal Singh, Sachin and Ashank grabbed one wicket each.
From the Udhampur Eleven side Brijesh scored 67 brilliant runs Shivansh scored 22 and achieved the required target in 30 overs. from KC International side Jaswinder was the pick of the bowlers who scalped 2 wickets. Mohim, Yogan and Umer took one wicket each.
Brijesh was adjudged man of the match for his all round performance.
In another match between Project Model Hr. sec. School and Col RN Chopra cricket Academy, Project Model Hr. Sec School defeated their rivals by a huge margin of 100 runs.
After winning the toss Col RN Chopra Academy chose to bowl first. Their bowlers Abhay Tandon felled 5, Uday pratap 3 and Jugjap 2 Project Model school batsmen. From the first batting side Rishab with 43, Manav with 34 and Satyam 15 were the main scorers.
When put to bat, Col RN Chopra side collapsed om 68 runs. Agastya Sharma and Marutwan took 3 wickets each, Abhinav 2 wickets.
Rishabh and Abhay were adjudged the joint men of the match for their good performances.
Shugal Sharma and Sahil Sharma were the umpires of the matches.
The tournament is being conducted under the supervision and guidance of Vivek Sharma ex. Ranji Trophy player.
