UDHAMPUR, Nov 15: On the directions of SSP Udhampur, Sargun Shukla, a Police Community Partnership Group (PCPG) meeting was held at Police Post Roundomail, here today.
The meeting was chaired by Sahil Mahajan, DySP Hqrs Udhampur, and SHO PS Udhampur, IC PP Roundomail and other officers were present in the meeting. The meeting was attended by the respectable persons, Sarpanches, Panches, senior citizens and youth of the area.
During the meeting, the participants raised various grievances related to Police and civil administration. The chairing officer assured the participants that their genuine grievances pertaining to police will be resolved on priority and the issues pertaining to civil administration will be taken up to the concerned department through district administration for the early redressal.
During the meeting, DySP Hqrs Udhampur also discussed with the participants about anti social activities and urged them to avoid drug addiction, alcoholism and to refrain from indulging in anti national activities. The participants were advised to remain alert in this regard and also seek the assistance by sharing information of those miscreants whose activities are anti social in the society so that Police may take action as per law.
