JAMMU, Sept 7: The Central Government has approved a proposal submitted by Union Minister of State in Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) Dr Jitendra Singh to name Udhampur Railway Station as `Martyr Captain Tushar Mahajan Railway Station’.

“A communication to this effect has been sent to the UT Government of Jammu and Kashmir by the Government of India to formally issue the required gazette notification,” Dr Jitendra Singh, who is also the Lok Sabha member from Udhampur, wrote on X.
He expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
