JAMMU, Jan 1:The representatives of United Front Association (UFA) of private schools, ETT institutions & BEd colleges in its meeting with Secretary School Education, Farooq Ahmed Factoo stressed on regularisation of admission to ETT course for the session 2012-2013.
The Association members apprised the Commissioner /Secretary Education that the admission of ETT Course 2010-12 was zero due to which the ETT institutions of the State suffered a lot as they incurred a huge expenditure on infrastructure, deployment of staff and other articles after seeking huge loan from banks.
This was stated in a Association handout issued here today by its president A K Kapoor. It said Mr Factoo gave the assurance that favorable steps will be taken as early as possible by the Department.
The meeting also discussed waiving of NOC of ETT courses for the session 2012-2014 as had been done during the ETT courses for 2008-10 in 2009, issuance of NOC on permanent basis, qualification of ETT Course be made compulsory for the Government/ ReT teachers in the State and allotment of management quota from six percent to 10 percent.
The meeting also demanded issuance of affiliation orders to the institutions by chairman BOSE, opening of examination centers in every institution, revision of tuition fee in every session, appearance and inclusion of names of the institutions/ schools in the Board result Gazette and issuance of result gazette by the Board as compliment as per past practice.
The meeting also discussed the problems being faced by the non Government private schools on the enforcement of SRO 123 of 8-03-2012.
The meeting besides the representatives of the Association was attended by Dr Sheikh Bashir Ahmed, Chairman BOSE, Ch. Rashid Alam Inqalabi, Additional Secretary, School Education, Dr Abdul Salam, Additional Secretary School Education and others.
