Jammu, Sept 6: The Unive-rsity Grants Commission, New Delhi has nominated Prof J P Singh Joorel, Professor of Statistics, Unive-rsity of Jammu, Jammu on the Advisory Com-mittee for Special Heritage Scheme (SHS) sanctioned to the GGM Science College, Jammu, J&K by the UGC.
The University Grants Commission has also nominated Prof Ramamurthy Naidu, former Member of UGC to the advisory committee. The Advisory Com-mittee will meet as often as required, but at least twice in an academic year, to formulate, oversee the launching and implementation of the Heritage Scheme of the UGC at the College in fulfilling its objectives.
