Moscow, Sep 10 : Russian means of air defense have destroyed a Ukrainian drone over Russia’s Bryansk Region, the Russian Defense Ministry said on Sunday.
Earlier in the day, the defense ministry said that Russian air defenses destroyed eight Ukrainian drones over the Black Sea near Crimea.
“On September 10, at about 08.30 [05:30 GMT], an attempt by the Kiev regime to carry out a terrorist attack by a fixed wing drone against objects on the territory of the Russian Federation was thwarted,” the ministry said on Telegram, adding that “the unmanned aerial vehicle destroyed in mid-air.”
Ukraine has been sending drones into Russian territory almost daily since it launched a counteroffensive in early June.
