JAMMU, Apr 16: The birthday of Uma Bhagwati was celebrated with religious fervor and gaiety at Sharda Preeth Temple Complex, Bantalab near here.
A large number of devotees thronged the complex to participate in the religious function and pay obeisance to Goddess Uma. Bhajan Kirtan was also held and a Maha Yagya was solemnized for peace and prosperity of mankind.
The devotees were served with Prashad after Puranahuti. The function was organized by Uma Bhagwati Asthapan Trust Brariangan, Anantnag.
