POONCH, June 18: The police recovered an unidentified dead body of middle- aged woman from forest area in Mendhar Sub Division of district Poonch today.
A police spokesman said that today morning an information was received by a villager that a dead body of middle aged woman, apparently mentally retarded, was lying in the nearby forest area on the main Mendhar-BG Road road. Upon this, SHO Mendhar, Manzoor Kohli along with police party reached the spot and shifted the unclaimed body to the mortuary of SDH Mendar.
The police registered a case in this connection and started investigation.
