JAMMU, Jan 24: At least seven vehicles were damaged after an uncontrolled truck hit them at Narwal area here today, police said.
They said the driver of a truck (JKDIX-1131) that was on its way from Narwal towards Panama Chowk area lost control over the vehicle as a result of which the uncontrolled truck hit seven other vehicles parked along the side of the road, leaving them battered.
Police have arrested the driver Fridous Ahmad Dar of Ganderbal and registered an FIR under the relevant sections of the law at Bahu Fort Police Station and started further investigation.
