RAJOURI, Nov 5: A calf was burnt alive while goods and property worth lakhs destroyed after a house caught fire in Gambhir Muglan area of Manjakote in district Rajouri during last night.
Official sources said that under construction house of Mohammed Javed, son of Mohd Shabir, resident of Gambhir Muglan in Manjakote caught fire during last mid night. The household goods and other articles kept there were burnt while a calf tied with the tether inside, was charred to death. However, no loss of human life was reported.
The loss of property was being assessed. The family suspected some foul play behind the incident. The police has taken cognizance of the matter.
