Unidentified bodies found

JAMMU, May 10: Police here today found three unidentified bodies from Jammu, Reasi and Ramban districts.
The dead body of an unidentified man of age about 47 years was found today in a field in Phallian Mandal area of city outskirts.
Some locals spotted the dead body of a non-local man lying in unconscious condition in a field at Toph Manhasa (Phallian Mandal) and informed the police which reached the spot and shifted the body to mortuary room of Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for identification/postmortem.
In this connection, Phallian Mandal Police had taken cognizance.
Meanwhile, an unidentified male dead body with height 5 feet 6 inch, wheatish complexion, age about 70-75 years was lying at Mortuary Room of District Hospital Ramban from where it was shifted to Mortuary Room of GMC Jammu for another 72 hours for identification purpose.
Police has stated that if anyone has any information about the deceased person, he/she may contact Police Station Ramban and PCR Ramban.
An unidentified dead body of a female (20) was retrieved from the Chenab River here today.
The body was recovered near Dam Top, NHPC Salal Dam and was retrieved by the SDRF team from the river.
The body was shifted to District Hospital (DH), Reasi for identification and the post mortem.
