JAMMU, Mar 14: The dead body of an unidentified man was recovered today here from General Bus Stand.
According to a police spokesperson, the dead body of a male aged about 65 years was found this evening in front of Clock Room at General Bus Stand, falling under the jurisdiction of police station Bus Stand.
On getting information, police immediately reached the spot and shifted the body to mortuary room of Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Jammu, for identification and post mortem.
A case in this regard has been registered at Bus Stand police station, where police has started inquest proceedings under Section 174 CrPC. According to the police, the man appears to be died due to heart attack. However the exact reason of the death could be revealed only after post mortem, the police added.
