RAMBAN, May 21: Police here today retrieved the dead body of an unknown person from the bank of river Chenab at Cafeteria Morh.
Police sources said that some passersby in morning noticed a person lying on the banks of river Chenab and informed police.
After getting information Police and local volunteers rushed to the spot and retrieved the unidentified body of a man.
SHO Police Station Ramban, Inspector Anil Chowdary said that the body was shifted to mortuary of District Hospital for identification.
Police has sought help of the general public for identification of the deceased person.
