JAMMU, Apr 25: The dead body of an unidentified man was today recovered from RS Pura area of city outskirts.
According to a police spokesman, some passersby this morning spotted the dead body of a male of age about 40 years lying near Holy Convent School, RS Pura.
He said that they informed the police, which reached the spot and shifted the body to mortuary room of Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Jammu, for identification and post mortem.
“A case in this regard was registered at police station RS Pura, where police has started inquest proceedings under Section 174 CrPC”, the spokesman added.
