JAMMU, Jan 27: The dead body of an unidentified old woman was today recovered from Sainik Colony area of city outskirts.
According to a police spokesperson, the dead body of an unidentified woman aged about 70 years was spotted by some locals near LG Showroom at Sainik Colony.
On getting information a police team from concerned police station reached the spot and shifted the body to mortuary room of GMCH, Jammu, for identification and post mortem.
A case in this regard has been registered at concerned police station and further investigations are on. However, the police said they found nothing suspicious from the spot and the women probably died to prevailing cold conditions.
