Srinagar, Aug 4: Police today said that it have recovered a body of an unidentified woman in Hari Singh High Street area of city centre here on last evening
A police spokesman said that some local informed the them that a female body is laying at Bindroo Medicate. “A police party of police station Shaheed Gunj rushed to the spot and recovered that body. The deceased lady is about 60 years of age,” the spokesman said.
Police have initiated inquest proceedings under Section 174 CrPC to ascertain her identity and the cause of death, the spokesman added.
