JAMMU, Oct 21: The dead body of unidentified man of age about 35 years was found today lying near Jat Sabha (RS Pura) on outskirts of Jammu city.
“The body was shifted to mortuary room of Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for identification/postmortem while RS Pura Police had initiated inquest proceedings under Section 174 CrPC in this connection to ascertain the actual cause of death of the man,” a Police spokesman said.
He said the deceased is 5 feet 7 inches tall, wheatish in complexion and normal in built with oval face and black eyes. “He is wearing a T-shirt and Pajama,” the spokesman said, adding, any information regarding identity/residence of the deceased may be communicated to Police Station RS Pura or PCR Jammu
