JAMMU, Apr 8: An unidentified man was found dead under mysterious circumstances here at Hari Market area.
A police spokesperson said that on April 7, 2023, an information was received through reliable sources that an unidentified person, aged around 45/50, was lying in mysterious circumstances at Kaleeth Mohalla Park, Hari Market, Jammu.
Accordingly, he said, the person was shifted to Government Medical College Jammu where doctors declared him as dead on arrival.
He further said that the body of the deceased has been shifted to the mortuary for conducting post-mortem and identification.
Meanwhile, police have launched inquest proceedings under Section CrPC 174 to ascertain the reason behind the death of the unidentified person and taken up further investigation.
