JAMMU, Jan 3: An unidentified man was found dead under mysterious circumstances at Transport Yard in Narwal area here today.
A 50-55 years old man was found unconscious at Yard Number 2, Transport Nagar, Narwal, a police official said.
He said the individual was taken to Government Medical College Jammu where doctors declared him dead on arrival.
According to him, the body of the deceased individual has been shifted to the mortuary of the Government Medical College Jammu for conducting post-mortem examination and identification purposes.
Meanwhile, police have initiated inquest proceedings to ascertain the cause of the death of the unidentified man.
